Sukses terus pampas

    Unprofessional with very poor communication

We hired the Pampas Home team (Refni/Ammy and Boo) with the illusion of having the wedding decoration of our dream: a minimalistic tropical garden theme for an outdoor intimate reception. They were okay at the beginning, responding pretty quickly via WhatsApp. As time passed, very little information and progress was reported from their side. Some questions were often left unanswered, and I sometimes had to repeat them to get clarity. On our meeting calls, most of the time, we were the ones talking, and they gave minimum insight and initiative, except when requesting more payments. They never provided us with the floor plan (map) for the decoration, only giving us pictures of items taken from their catalog. I had to create the floor and seating plan by myself. It's hard to imagine the decoration until it's actually done on the D-Day. We also trusted them to handle the tents, chairs, tables, etc. It was a mistake. Before the event, I repeatedly reminded them that we needed a sturdy tent and decorations because the venue is outdoors and can have particularly heavy rain and strong wind. They are aware of that. However, I was informed by the wedding planner that the tent collapsed the night before my reception due to the expected rain. Luckily, nobody was under the tent at that time, but imagine if it happened during the event and collapsed when the guests were there: it would be a disaster! I hired tents for functionality, to protect people from the sun and the rain, not only to look pretty. All the decoration items, such as the name sign, the photo board, the table frames, and the metal hanger for a map (my idea), constantly fell during the event because of the wind. The whole wedding organizer team, as well as my sister in her mermaid dress, had to work very hard to make sure the decoration items were in their place and didn't hurt anyone because NOBODY from the Pampas Home team was there during my reception. We also had to move the table arrangement due to the change in guest numbers at the last minute, and again, the wedding organizer had to take care of it. My wedding planner told me that Ammy and Boo kept saying they were on the way but never arrived, neither did any of the representatives of the Pampas Home team. Turned out they were on the way to a technical meeting of another event (reported on their social media), instead of my wedding reception that was actually happened that day. I don't understand why, because we even provided them with a hotel room for that day so they could be more comfortable and move easily during the event. During the whole time, from D-1 to D-Day, I received ZERO messages from Ammy. My wedding planner was the one who updated me on the progress of the tent installation, table arrangement, etc. I would say the Pampas Home team owed my wedding organizer team a lot, as the WO were doing the Pampas team's job because they were nowhere to be seen. Until the day after, I still didn't hear anything from them, not even asking how the event was or congratulating us (mind you, we paid over 35 million to them, so I guess some polite decency is to be expected). So, I was the one who texted them first to give them feedback three days after. Some weeks later, my photography and videography vendor told me that Boo had texted them asking for the picture of our event. He didn't even text me to ask for permission. Anyway, all other vendors have their own documentation material of our wedding reception, and if any of the Pampas Home team were there during D-Day, they would have one as well, I guess. Overall, it was disheartening to see a small business with potential lose its credibility due to a lack of professionalism and very poor communication. I hope they can take feedback constructively and let it be a cautionary tale for future clients. I don't recommend this vendor due to the headache they caused us on our special day. Good luck. PS: I noticed that most of their reviews here on Bridestory are fake. Ammy, Refni, Boo, and HD are themselves. Also, after we submitted our reviews, suddenly they have two new ones. Maybe instead of putting fake stars on yourselves, better address our reviews to show your care about your own business. Just a tip for future brides and grooms: checked their social media to see how little they actually interact with the clients and most of the other vendors (even my vendors) never include them in the posts.

Nice decoration, not the desired professionalism

We were happy with the work on the decoration from this vendor, the details, arrangements and distribution was good and neat. However, there is a couple of things that made the feeling bittersweet: - On the D-Day, no one from the team was there and we had some problems with the weather and decoration falling which we were unable to handle as no person responsible from this team was in contact or present during the event. - During the preparation the communication was not very fluent. Usually many of our questions were unanswered and even though they seemed to have things under control, the incertitude created to the client brought unnecessary stress. - I sensed a lack of professionalisim. On the meetings they did not seemed to have prepared much. Just bring/show generic catalogs and we did not get a plan of the decoration ever. Just discussed in person. - This lack of professionalsim and comunication make things harder with other vendors. - After the celebration we did not received a single message asking how was it or even congratulating us. It was sad to see that cold relation from someone who is crucial on one of your most important days. - We contacted them after about these issues and they apologised but also mentioned that they were not able to be on the D-day standing by because "they were very tired as they worked bothered by spirits and it was outside their operational hours". This made me quite angry as if you work for an event what is more important that the D-Day? I don't dare to comment about the spirits.... A the end the result was good but it cost stress and incertitude that you dont want for your wedding day, and the proces was somehow painful rather than joyful. From communications with others vendors and our experience, I cannot fully recommend them. I hope this feedback with respect and sense can make them grow and learn. Lastly, if you reach these lines, take a look at their 2 accounts for Pampas and extra 4 accounts managed by themselves under other names. They are used to give between themselves fake reviews. Also 2 new reviews just appeared after ours so their image was not affected. This is how they take accountability. This makes my impression even worse and I totally discourage you to hire them.

I had an amazing experience working together with Ka Boo and Ka Amy to carry out the wedding I dreamed of. Ka Amy has a vision and she knew exactly what I wanted. She gave me so amazing ideas that were perfect yet suitable for my budget. Ka Boo was responsive in helping to create a solution. I am truly grateful to have found Pampas decor through bridestory. Not only did they come in and get things in order, but ensuring things were done to an a excellent standard. We will definitely be recommending Pampas Decor to everyone. ♡,
