    Excellent service

    Go Samui Catering is one of the best catering companies in Koh Samui. Their food is delicious and the chef is amazing. They are also happy for you to tailor their menu's so that you get exactly what you want. If you hire Go Samui Catering for your wedding you can not go wrong!

    Intial Deposit - 50% deposit and confirmation of the booking acceptance form are required to confirm your booking event. Final Balance - 50% balance paid 30 days prior to event date and confirmation of menus.
    When was your business established?
    Our Go Samui Catering Business started in late 2014, but our Chefs & Directors have been in the F&B field for over 30 years in positions of Chefs, F&B Directors and private restaurant owners in Thailand, UK, Spain, South Africa, Malaysia and Australia.
    Do you provide delivery services?
    We can deliver. We mainly deliver to clients going on a Boat or Excursion they have planned. Deliveries can be arranged however will depend on the menu options, distance and location of the delivery.
    Do you provide tastings?
    Menu tastings are available upon request. Menu tastings are not free, but if the event is confirmed we will deduct the fee from the overall quotation.

We will work with you to you choose the perfect menu, ensuring that your event is one that you and your guests will long remember. Your selections are prepared in our kitchen utilizing fresh local produce where suitable and imported meats, seafoods & other fine products cooked on location to ensure freshness and quality within.

    A little bit about our Chef Reuben Kimber
    Chef Reuben Kimber Devon located in the North country of the UK is where Chef Reuben had his culinary instincts injected into him from a young age. As a child he worked on his parent’s farm, thus influencing his career direction into the catering world by using only the best seasonal produce from the ‘ Land, Sky and Sea ‘ had to offer him which allowed him to familiarize and indulge in his culinary creativeness. At age 16, he attended Catering College and then gained valuable experience before choosing to have a hands on training at a Michelin two-star country house hotel near his hometown under the watchful eye of Michael Cains. He then went on to quickly in establish himself along his culinary journey in some of the finest hotels and restaurants adding new recipes and creations to his repertoire along the way. His Big break was when he traveled to Koh Samui, Thailand and was offered The job of an ‘Executive Chef’ at the YL Residence No.17 a superb Private villa were he was asked to dazzle diners, of course with culinary delights, Reuben loves the challenge of writing a personalized menu for each group booking, based around the seasons and daily fresh catch from the sea, along with the best imported luxury produce. Reuben is hands-on in the kitchen, believing strongly in coaching and guiding his staff from ‘green talent’ to ‘gold’. “ It’s very rewarding to be able to see a chef fulfill their talent. I always wanted to play with food and please people.” A recipe for success, if ever there was one. Along with the Go Samui Catering, Reuben is often found in several other venues that require his knowledge as a consultant around Koh Samui.
    A little bit about our Culinary Director Chef Don Lawson
    Chef Don Lawson For Australian-born Don Lawson, food has not only been his job, it has been his passion. Starting off as an apprentice Chef in Australia’s capital city Canberra at the Southern Cross, Don developed a solid foundation by gaining qualifications in Commercial Cookery and Hotel Management at the city’s Reid Culinary Institute. In 1999, Don embarked on his culinary explorations to London’s Radisson SAS and then Dubai with the Dusit group which widen his technical skills and gaining essential experience from Californian-fusion to modern Mediterranean/ Italian, traditional Middle Eastern and his favorite Asian cuisine. Arriving in Thailand in early 2003, to lead a team at Santiburi Dusit Resort before bringing his wealth of culinary experience to the Anantara group for nearly a decade We believe Go Samui Catering’s style of food is just that…stylish. We don’t compromise on quality yet we want our food to be accessible, timely and modern. We focus on freshness and innovation for our customers. We don’t like to complicate dishes but rather focus on taste and plating of our food. We want the combination of flavors to invite you on a journey.
    A little bit about our Head Mixologist Shaun Hill
    Mixologist - Shaun Hill As head bartender at Bangkok’s former hotspots–GLOW & Qbar, Shaun Hill brings his signature culinary flair to the crafted cocktail. Shaun grew up outside Bangkok on the island of Koh Samui after being born to an Irish father and Thai mother in Dublin, Ireland. Growing up on Koh Samui allowed him to work in his parent’s resort which is where he first crafted his skills and creativity. Shaun began spending his free time at the popular Poppies Resort. “I was trying all the classics, reading up on the history,” Shaun remembers. Years later Shaun began working as the bartender in a variety of popular local hangouts on the island, before heading to Bangkok to shine in the city’s hottest clubs – Bed Supper Club & Qbar. Shaun spent his time at GLOW & Qbar, “banging out drinks, tasting, learning,” as well as soaking up all the information he could from his experiences. Shaun then headed back to Koh Samui to open his own venue and at this stage he became involved in the catering action on Koh Samui. As far as mixology goes, he says, “I’m a fan of bright, loud, vibrant flavors. I like to use egregious amounts of bitters, bold whiskies and try cool savory ingredients while utilizing my kitchen background to take it to the next level.” Shaun is making quite a name for himself now as the head Mixologist at Go Samui Catering events and can be seen shaking and mixing at his latest venture he just opened called BLUE NOTE BAR in Koh Samui.
    A little insight into our Head Bartender Khun Rom Waranon
    Khun Rom Waranon Everybody knows that the staff at a bar or event can make or break a night. Are they friendly or are they able to work under pressure, or does the madness rush send them into the corner sobbing randomly serving Bacardi Breezers to Scotch drinkers and Absinthe shooters to the Nuns? In Khun Rom we have a ‘ Super Nova ‘ a personality that makes a trip to our event bars or cocktail tastings a pleasurable and memorable event and leaves you with a new friend in Samui & on your Facebook page to share cocktail ideas and music with. Rom leaves the gimmicks and tricks to people who can’t mix a drink to save themselves and instead relies on his speed, style and consummate mixing skills to ensure his loyal following and happy clients. His mixing skills also extend to the decks and some of his regular customers might be lucky enough to own one of his DJ Rom’s CD disks, We love the fact he cheerfully admits to needing at least two drinks before getting up to a full functioning capability and yet he had enormous difficulty in slowing down his cocktail preparations to a speed where clients can actually capture a photo of Rom in action. Rom can be found at his new Venus with Shaun in Koh Samui called BLUE NOTE and hands on with Go Samui Catering offering assistance to clients on cocktails and the perfect drinks for your event.
