Warm and welcoming. These two words are the best to describe Annie and Trevor's rustic barn wedding. It was on a bright summer day when the couple had their nuptials on a picturesque farm in Glenaroua, Australia. The weather hovered around an extreme 41 to 43 degree Celsius for a good part of the day. So, when we say this wedding is warm, we do mean it literally. "We had bucket hats, cold bottles of water and sunscreen slopped all over the back of our necks, all ready for the day," said Reza, the photographer of Pixlpopr.
The ceremony was beautifully executed inside an exquisitely decorated wool shed. The farm gave an overflow of rustic and laid back vibe that after a short while, people started to forget about the heat and turn to celebrate Annie and Trevor's love. Annie looked gorgeous in her simple white wedding dress which is sequined on the front area, while Trevor shined brightly in his light grey suit. Soon after the ceremony, clouds started rolling in giving all guests the much needed shade. "As the sun was coming down, we made our way to the olive garden as we took more shots of the newlywed and their bridal party," Reza shared further.
Everything went delightfully. Everyone was in their best laid back look, supporting the summer appearance with bright vibrant colors and patterns. Woodwork decorations and hanging Polaroid pictures of the guests made the celebration felt more intimate and welcoming to everyone. We especially love the small bar made from a horse box which just adds more rustic touch. With live music serenading them and cool beers in hand, everyone danced the night away until the party ended.
Looking at the emotional, heartfelt photos by Pixlpopr, we can really see how successful the celebration was. "Going hot never looked this good!" so said Reza. Take another look at the photos and don't forget to add your favorites to the inspiration board!
