Best friends that they are, Yong Seng and Yi Zhen surely know how to romanticize a shoot as well as keeping it casual. Also, they seem to have a way to create an effortless, natural feel to the entire session. Nothing forced, nothing pre-made, simply, love.

Here is what the photographer has to say about the shoot:

Basketball brought the couple together. There was a basketball club in University so Yong first noticed Yi Zhen at a basketball game where they played together. After playing a few basketball games together their love story blossomed from there and then the rest was history, sharing many travels and good times together. They had been together for approximately 5-6 years. The groom bought a book and did lots of research on how to glue the pages together and then cut out a cavity where he then tied the engagement ring inside the cavity. He then gave the book to Yi Zhen and proposed. Yong Seng's does a lot of travel for work. On one of his work trips he was stationed in Melbourne and fell in love with the place. But during that trip Yi Zhen was not with him. So they decided to come back to Melbourne to share what the place had to offer together and also used this opportunity to take their pre wedding photos before their home wedding in Singapore in July 2015.
The most memorable part of this shoot is that they showed their happiness together without any concern where the camera was. Even with the blistering hot summer sun, I had a blast!
