Dennis and Christina have known each other since high school through their mutual friends, but have never talked or hang out together. Coincidentally, they both went to Monash Melbourne for university, but each had their own partners then. During their university days, they still never hang out together or share more than a simple hello or a polite nod. When they finished their study, Christina moved to Beijing to continue with her education while Dennis moved to Shanghai. Christina shared how she originally planned to move to Shanghai on her second semester, but cancelled. "If I had gone through with my plan to move to Shanghai, I might have met Dennis earlier," reminisced the Bride. Although they seemed to be going separate ways, fate spoke otherwise. In his second semester in Shanghai, Dennis met Albert who happens to be Christina's old elementary friend. Dennis then asked Albert to introduce him to Christina. The bride shared how they texted each other back and forth and hung out together for a year before declaring it an official relationship.
"For the proposal, Dennis asked for my hand in Padar Island. He is not the type for outdoor activities, while I love them so much. So, when Dennis took me to Padar Island and hiked to the top of the mountain, I had a feeling that he was going to propose. It was still a very memorable moment for both of us, though. I really appreciate all his efforts on the whole trip and proposal because I know he hates the outdoors, but was willing to do all that for me," shared Christina. "Dennis and I are very different. He's a perfectionist while I'm more ignorant regarding most things. The only similarity we have is that we are both hard-headed, but along the way we learn to be patient with each other. The thing I love most about us is how I can share literally anything with him and that we both the same taste in jokes that nobody else finds funny!" the lovely bride continued.
Their glamorous white wedding was captured beautifully by Axioo. With a touch of pastel shades on their wedding elements, the whole celebration was nothing short from spectacular. Her bridesmaids were a beautiful sight wrapped in matching lavender dresses while the groomsmen all looked dashing in their grey suit. Even so, Christina was queen of the day wrapped in a classic strapless wedding dress, covered by a loosely meshed cape created by Yefta Gunawan. The couple looked incredible as they walked down the aisle, looking more and more in love as they say their "I do's. Cutting their seven tier all-white cake by LeNovelle, Christina and Dennis was ready to start their lifetime full of love together.
