A Vintage and Traditional Pre-Wedding, Shot in Three Different Cities

Lisa and Yovin are both a fan of vintage looks, so vintage will obviously be the underlying theme for their pre-wedding shoot. Added by Lisa's affinity for traditional attires, an authentic and original feel is a guarantee. Having had their proposal during a morning jog, their main target in this photo shoot is to embody the casual couple that they are. "I didn't have any specific idea yet, but I told Devi of Cerita Tentang Senja that I want something casual but full of memories," said the bride.

The shoot mainly took place in Yogyakarta, they took pictures in four unique and historical sites namely Gumuk Pasir, Ndalem Natan, Situs Warung Boto and Taman Sari. The couple got to play a role of an ancient-time couple by posing with antique furniture and wearing ensembles which incorporated Indonesian traditional fabrics such as batik and lurik. Not only did everything in this shoot fall well into place, the couple had the chance to also take a culinary trip around Yogyakarta. "We did cancel some locations as we were too tired and continued with a culinary trip instead," recalled Lisa. The bride-to-be also admitted to having a lot of fun with the photographers who are also their good friends. After the Jogja photo-trip, the couple also had another shoot with Cerita Tentang Senja once they're back in Jakarta. This time, the shoot is done in The Gunawarman.

For a couple who loves a lot of fun, there could never be too much photo shoots. The couple also enlisted Torik Danumaya to create an elegant indoor shoot where the bride- and groom-to-be are clad in more pairs of traditional outfit. In addition to their photo shoot adventures, the two had a final pre-wedding session in Sangeh, Bali with Terralogical. This time, the couple show edoff their affection in natural lights of the forest and embrace the lushness of the greens in the background.

Even with different settings and location, casual ambiance and vintage clothing were a part of all their photos.
