Chyndar and Daniel are high school sweethearts who have dated for 10 years. After deciding to get married, the two enlisted the help of friend and photographer Torik Danumaya, to do their pre-wedding photo shoot. "They're actually my college friends and I've known them for 7 years. So when they asked me to help with their engagement shoot, I agreed without hesitation" Torik reminisced.

For the concept, Torik teamed with Arishiarizka, a stylist who also happen to be the bride's work mate. "Chyndar and Daniel wanted to create a traditional vintage concept with a touch of colonial era, which felt modern at the same time. We quickly gathered inspirations and luckily we can pull the shoot off in just two weeks before the wedding," Torik recalled.

With such an interesting concept, the shooting day is expected to be an unforgettable experience. Torik shared us some behind-the-scene stories, "We actually set 9 hours aside for shooting time, it turns out putting together the decoration took 6 hours alone! We did everything without any help from vendors. From assembling the flower gates, choosing the plants and furniture, which are from Chyndar's private collection."

Aside from the decoration, their wardrobe choices caught our eyes instantly as well. Apparently, there was an interesting story behind it too. "Chyndar and Daniel initiatively steamed and ironed their own clothes and helped putting the garments to each other. The chemistry was so real; it was like seeing a couple who have been married for years. What a touching sight," Torik said.
