Cynthia believes that simplicity is the keynote of true elegance. "We wanted something intimate, fun, and romantic," said the bride-to-be. The shoot unfolded naturally, even though there was no particular theme or a certain set of style. "The inspiration is from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the cover of Vanity Fair. We wanted to be ourselves, not being over dressed and Hakim Satriyo, our photographer, assured us to go with our personal style for more authentic results," she added.

Cynthia and Aswin combined two different vibes for the shoot. "Two of the looks are more casual and indigenous, while the other look is more fierce and androgynous without being too mainstream," Cynthia said. Choosing Hakim Satriyo for this project proved to be the perfect decision as well. Cynthia shared, "I basically love muted, black and white photos so we chose Hakim and totally loved the results."

With such beautiful photos, it was a bit hard to believe that the shoot took only a week of preparation. "It was done a few days before the official engagement so I was a little caught up in the middle of both engagement and wedding planning," she recalled. However so, every effort they put into this photo session was worth the very last bit as the photos are simply to die for.
