A Romantic Autumnal Engagement Shoot in Osaka, Japan

After they were introduced by a mutual friend, Wee Ling and Guan Yi hit it off right away. They started going out for dinner after work, getting to know each other along the way. "We got along very well from the very beginning due to the similarities in our values, how we place our families as our top priority," said Wee Ling. "This way, we're able to understand and tolerate each other despite having different personalities," she added.

The wedding proposal that followed in 2015 was, according to Wee Ling, the most romantic thing she had ever experienced. "On a Friday night, I was tricked into going to MacRitchie Reservoir Park for dinner with some friends," she recalled. Little did she know, Guan Yi had prepared something extra special for her. "I found him down on one knee in front of a pavilion that had been decorated with fairy lights and our photos," Wee Ling reminisced.

For their pre-wedding photo shoot, this couple flew to Japan, all the way from their hometown of Singapore.
