In collaboration with well-known brands such as Grand Indonesia, BCA, Lightworks Production, and Nomina Photography, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta along with Bridestory present a three-day wedding exhibition to cater the ever-growing needs of brides-to-be in Jakarta. From October 13 – 15, the prestigious event showcased various categories of vendors, from top-notch to rising-stars, in the enchanting Grand Ballroom of Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta. "Our last wedding exhibition was done in 2014. So this year would be the perfect time to host another wedding showcase, with a more unique theme and greater partners this time around," said Jane Hutauruk, Director of Groups and Events of Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta.
Inspired by the luxurious black chandeliers in the ballroom, Bridestory then came up with 'Modern Versailles' as the theme of the exhibiton. "Our main focus is to expose the ballroom and its magnificent chandeliers. So we chose the colors black, white and gold as the main palette for the exhibition. Though unusual, black is modern and bold at the same time, perfect to complement the already beautiful 5-star venue," Nathalia Isadora, Director of Social Media and Events of Bridestory.
As done in past events, Bridestory's commitment is to ensure a sense of comfort for visitors who are visiting the exhibition. "We provided spacious lounges in the foyer and grand ballroom so couples and their families can easily discuss and deliberate," Nathalia said. To reflect a sense of space and to highlight the ballroom's uniqueness, the layout of this event is made different than usual. "The island booth layout is entirely ideal for this concept. Each island consists of 6 vendors and is spaciously distanced providing comfort as well as practicality for the visitors of the event," she added.
That's not all, complementing the exhibition were two installations located in Mall Grand Indonesia. One is a table setting display by Wonderworks and the other is none other than the lights installation by Lightworks. Located under the sky bridge, the installations have attracted hundreds of visitors to come and strike a pose as part of the Instagram competition held during the event.
