    I didn't need to stress or micro-manage on my wedding day at all.

    Disclosure: I micro-manage and I am a difficult client. If I needed to service myself as a bride, I'd probably decline myself lol. ------------- I used to work with the team of Rising Edge when I was still an event manager 6 years ago. I am often warned by my friends to go easy on the coordinator since I know about the inner workings of the job, I might pull a Bridezilla with the slightest of slip ups or mistakes. Admittedly, at first, there were a few slip ups. Like the fonts of the artworks of the signages were inconsistent despite showing a peg,but all were corrected and resolved way before the wedding. The reason why I gave them 5 stars is because when I gave them a checklist, all were followed to the letter, and they were always 10 steps ahead of me. Elaine, the main coordinator (and owner) made everything smooth. At my request, she sends me photos every hour of my set up. I told her I needed this because I want to know if we were on time, or if we should tell our guests to relax a little. We were SUPER on time. This was important because our wedding fell on a Sunday, and we didn't want to extend because some guests might leave the reception early. The team is also punctual and courteous. Jelly was the bride’s assistant assigned to me. She had my things, my contracts, always had water for me, assisted me during bathroom breaks (along with my maid of honor), always is aware of my belongings, even watched over cash gifts in case I need to stand up from my seat. Niña, the secondary coordinator, makes sure that the entourage are where they need to be, and with Elaine, they rove around checking on suppliers, and set up, but every time I look to the side of the stage where we were sitting, both Nina and Jelly will be there saying “Ms. Ches, do you need anything else? Water? Tissue? Your sister?” Whenever I needed something, they would attend to it quickly, or before I even asked, they were done already. Down to the petty stuff like: . "Where are my earrings ? I think I left it at the prep room" 'It's here with me.’ "Do you have water there?" ‘Yes ma'am I do.’ "Where are the contracts? ‘With your sister.’ "Have we transferred the chairs from the church to reception?" ‘Yes, we began right after the ceremony ended. Your guests are already having their cocktails.’ I mean **Everything** was taken care of.. If ever there were requests, they were able to attend to in 5-10mins. (like more bottled water, please locate this guest, etc.) I asked them also to help me buy sparklers, they obliged, they just charged delivery fee since I couldn't really buy it myself anymore due to time constraints. I paid PHP 127,500 for my coordination, set up, and styling, and every peso was worth it. That included: Coordination Backdrop of the Ceremony Entrance Arch Origami Photo area Games (Giant Jenga and Lawn Bowling) LED Wall 9x12 Acrylic Dance Floor 16x16 ft Hanging lanterns at the reception Burlap Aisle Altar Sparklers + transpo fee to buy For the Groom’s side, Rising Edge also had a coordinator (his name was Jud), and the groom really liked him. Really pleasing and professional, and like Jelly, he had everything and kept to the schedule. Full Disclosure: I gave them a checklist and printed schedules complete with numbers. I literally woke up, had breakfast, waited for my make up and photographers. They didn't need to ask / bother me for anything apart from the occasional FYI. My wedding was super elegant and exactly how I wanted, and super chill. I enjoyed it so much :) Our guests complimented several times on our set up. It was easy, no stress, not flamboyant but really elegant. I loved the feedback we received. Will I book them again? Yes for other events. Anniversaries, birthdays, etc. Will I refer them to other brides in a heart beat? YES. I'd say Rising Edge passed the ultimate test: to be the event manager of a fellow event manager who is super OC, detailed, and wanted to relax (hah!) during her wedding. :) Venue: The Mango Farm Number of Guests: 180 Pax
