Ivan met with Ayu at a church called Melbourne Praise Center where they both served as various roles. They barely talked to each other, rarely met, let alone spending time together. Little did they know that God has had something unexpectedly prepared for them. Started as stranger, Ivan, without any starting point but God alone, prayed and courageously asked Ayu to be his life partner. After a long journey of praying together, seeking parents’ approval and building friendship together, they both finally agreed to embark on a deeper relationship together. Up till’ this very moment, both of them still amazed for every step and every minute what God has been doing in their relationship. Both Ivan and Ayu understand that their relationship is not fueled by only their affection, attention, and passion for each other, but on the only solid foundation of where they put their life together, Jesus Christ. His love, grace, and mercy give life and colours to both of their relationship. Both only have one purpose for their relationship, to pursuit the calling and purpose of what God created them together to be. During their single period, Ivan had put Matthew 6:33 in his heart, which is to seek after God’s heart in everything and before everything. He always wanted a woman that so God loving and passionate about Jesus Christ. Therefore, Ivan was just seeking after God’s heart everyday in life, and in His heart, Ivan somehow miraculously, amazingly, and graciously found Ayu.
