Simple and Elegant Wedding of Abraham and Carin
by Elior Design

Updated on 11 December 2018, Intercontinental, Bandung

Whether you are choosing the right wedding decoration and theme is as important as choosing the ideal venue. Like what our couple did, they wanted to have intimate wedding that showed simplicity and elegance. Abraham and Carin chose Intercontinental Hotel in Bandung as at their wedding venue, which was a perfect fit for an abundance of pampas grass, gold leaves, and laid back intimate nuptial with a pinch of "Bali wedding" vibe which we kind of aimed for. For the stage we used stair railings for the background and intentionally gave enough space in between each of them to show the city view behind. We wanted some airy and light stage design this time so we put a big hole at the center and adorned it with massive flower hoop. And we used wood stair railings and painted them white. Our couple wanted their guests to enjoy their wedding reception comfortably, so seated dinner was the answer. And we couldn't be happier because we LOVE table decor. And we wanted to be a little bit extra here with long table, full centerpiece, and hand-picked hanging rattan lamps as accent. Creating an intimate lounge at your reception gives guests a place to go when they want to relax, take a break from dancing, or get away from their tablemates! Fill it with comfortable furnishings and give it a low-key vibe, and guests will be more than happy to hang there. Depending on your venue, the lounge can be set up anywhere there's extra space, including an area near the main reception room, in a cozy room nearby. This time we used the chapel as the lounge.
