Vendor of the Week: Studio June

Before becoming a fine art film photographer and event stylist team based in Jakarta, Studio June had humble beginnings. Founders, Melissa and Marsha started their company as a hobby, by taking simple photo shoots in their living room. Since then, they have continued to develop their portfolio and finally decided to fully pursue their passion. In March 2016, Studio June was officially launched as a result of Melissa and Marsha's commitment in doing what they truly love.

Studio June's aesthetics revolve around a classic yet effortless style that is romantic, elegant, and most importantly, honest. Desiring to create and capture beauty, Melissa and Marsha believe that weddings are the perfect outlet for their creativity. "Weddings are simply romantic and we couldn't find a better industry to express our love for these genuine, honest moments. Seeing two lovers interact and be in love is just so priceless."

Just recently, Studio June collaborated with one of Indonesia's most popular fashion bloggers, Olivia Lazuardy—whose pre-wedding photo shoot in Japan we've also featured—along with fashion designers, Cinobi and Vivian Lee for a styled shoot in Bali. "Before meeting Olivia, we already had a basic concept in mind. We wanted to create a personalized and cohesive photo shoot that draws inspiration from the beauty of nature, infused with the personality of the person we're shooting," shared Melissa. And as you can see from the photos below, the shoot successfully blended the intimate atmosphere and Olivia's own sophisticated, poised style.
