"A wedding is the one time that a person is truly present for another. It's an old-fashioned proclamation of love, not just by the couple, but by those attending," shared Artika. Up until now, she has planned dream weddings in Bali, Singapore, Mexico, Japan, and is currently planning more exciting weddings all around the globe.
As someone who has been involved in the industry for so long, her opinions on recent wedding trends might be surprising. For one, Artika believes that relying too much on the internet can kill creativity. "Brides come to me with the exact same pins time and time again. We try our best to get to know the bride and groom and create their own style," she explained. The bride and groom's personal touch is essential, as Artika believes that it is the key to fulfilling her initial mission, which is to make a sea of people cry tears of joy.
