Dragon boat enthusiast Samuel Yee and his girl Charlene Chia finally tie the knot after 5 years of dating with a Frozen-themed wedding (her fave movie) at Marina Bay Sands.
They adopted a darling blue-and-white palette for their celebrations. "Blue and white lent a sweet sentiment to the wedding and they are also our favorite colours," Samuel shared.
After a fun-filled gatecrash, the couple and their entourage proceeded for a photoshoot at Jurong Lake, with Samuel's groomsmen wielding dragon boat paddles as an amusing display of his love for the sport.
The festivities continued in a military-style ceremony at Marina Bay Sands, where Samuel, who is an army officer, escorted Charlene through an archway of swords in his white ceremonial uniform. The bride wore a white bustier ball gown from La Belle Couture, accessorising with a head chain.
The fun-loving couple also arranged for an archway of dragon boat paddles for their second walk-in. "My favourite wedding highlight is our paddle-bearers for sure; it could be a first for weddings!" Charlene expressed.
