For Anjela and Yongke, who have been together for more than six years, the decision to get married in Bali was made without any second thoughts. While exploring several cliff-side venues on the island, the pair fell in love at the first sight with Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. It was the perfect place for their intimate wedding, which was attended only by their most beloved ones.

"We decided to have a white-themed beach wedding. The concept was casual and laid-back, with a dress code of white attires paired with espadrilles or flats," said Anjela about her holy matrimony in Bali. Chandeliers and candles were placed along the aisle to emulate a romantic and rustic ambiance that she was looking for.

The venue was not the only thing Anjela fell head over heels for. "I asked Yefta Gunawan to design a simple yet classic dress for me and it was amazing. The dress had a lace cape and a ribbon on the back. I fell in love with it right away," reminisced Anjela about her wedding dress. It was indeed a heartwarming ceremony with magnificent views, soothing waves, and a beautiful sunset in the background. And there to witness and immortalize every bit of this wedding was the skillful photographer, Pyara.

While Anjela and Yongke's wedding in Bali was casual, they wanted something different for their reception in Bandung. "We wanted our Bandung reception to be simple, classic, and elegant," said Anjela. A neutral color palette consisting of grey, white, and a touch of champagne was chosen to make her dream wedding came true. A particularly interesting detail that caught our attention was how Anjela dressed her bridesmaids in grey suits and ponytails; a decision that worked well in conveying the boyish chic look that she wanted.

The talented designer Yefta Gunawan won Anjela's heart all over again, this time with a tulle dress adorned with pearls and Swarovski crystals. "I didn't even have to wear a headpiece because the dress was already so stunning by itself," gasped Anjela in delight, recalling the first time she saw her dress. Thanks to the magical brush of Andreas Zhu, Anjela's makeup became a flawless match to her exquisite dress; a bit edgy, but still timeless. To top it all off, PPF Photography and videographer Myel Studios captured every single detail of this truly wonderful wedding reception.
