Back in 2012, Hans and Jeanne were introduced by a pastor who knew both of their families well. It seemed that Hans had quickly charmed Jeanne, as she whispered a little prayer at the time. "I thought that if he's the one, he will come back into my life and become my husband," she said. After two years, her prayers were finally answered. "My family approved of him greatly and he finally proposed to me in 2015 when we were in Sydney," said Jeanne.

Following the proposal, the couple started planning their engagement party. "Since my family is from Bandung, my dad decided to throw a celebration there," Jeanne said. She then asked Tea Rose Wedding Designer to turn all her ideas into reality. Deep red roses added a regal atmosphere to the occasion, while greenery and branches filled the venue with a natural, earthy touch.

It was indeed a very special night for the couple, especially for Jeanne as she organized everything herself. "I designed the food, drinks, and dessert menu by myself. We also adored the jazzy and bluesy music. Overall, the party truly reflected us as a couple. I'm thankful to have been supported by an awesome vendor team and my parents as well," Jeanne said.

If you think Hans and Jeanne's engagement party was beautiful, wait until you see their wedding day. It was a classic white wedding made extra glamorous thanks to all the sophisticated decorations by Stupa Caspea and Flora Lines. Jeanne looked like a princess in a ball gown by Yefta Gunawan and Susy Kleo's magic hands brushed her complexion flawlessly. "I had never felt so pretty!" Jeanne said.

As beautiful as her engagement party and wedding were, Jeanne reminded us that marriage is about a lot more than that. "Aside from planning the wedding, don't forget to also prepare a strong foundation for your marriage. The wedding party is a one-night occasion, but your marriage will last a lifetime," said the bride.
