A week after their wedding in Jakarta, Raisa Andriana and Hamish Daud Wyllie flew to Bali to host yet another celebration. The party itself is more intimate and casual this time around, but not any less beautiful as the one they had in Jakarta. While the siraman, ngeuyeuk seureuh dan akad nikah processions were a tribute to Raisa's Sundanese root, Bali was picked as the location of the reception party as it has always been Hamish's dream to celebrate his most special moment in the island where he grew up. On the day, guests were invited to the breathtaking Villa Plenilunio to join the happy couple and their family in an intimate dinner party.
To embody the couple's love for all things romantic and natural, the cliff-side villa was decorated with a modern rustic concept by Cosa Design & Décor. Wooden elements combined with burgundy-, purple- and blush-colored flowers beautifully emphasized the villa's beauty. Strings of light were also put up to create a warm and magical atmosphere throughout the event.
A few moments before sunset, Raisa walked down the aisle with her father to join Hamish, who was already standing in front of the bridal stage. Witnessed by their closest family and childhood friends, the newlyweds then exchanged heartfelt vows to signify their commitment in the newly minted marriage.
"I promise to be the most loving husband, in good times and the bad ones. I will always be there for you and I love you with all of my heart forever," Hamish vowed to his beautiful wife. Teary-eyed Raisa then replied with a truly meaningful quote from one of her favorite romance movie, "I vow to help you love life, hold you with tenderness and to have patience that love demands, to speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they are not, and to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home."
The sweet words spoken by the lovers successfully moved all the guests. The tears however, were soon replaced by happy laughter as they proceeded with the celebration. As the evening unfolds, guests sat around the tables for an intimate dinner party. The night became even livelier after brief speeches from the couple's best friends and especially when everyone got down to the dance floor. The groom was also surprised the guests with Balinese kecak dance performance with his groomsmen.
Today's celebration indeed marks the end of Raisa and Hamish's wedding journey, which started on the August 29th. But, it also signifies the beginning of their adventure as a married couple.
