You know how they say that your partner is your best friend? This is exactly the case of Indon lovebirds Kefas Alkasio and Angela Soputan. The pair met in junior high school and have been inseparable since.
They married at Bethel Church in GBI Petamburan Jakarta, where the touching ceremony left several family members and close friends in tears, including the couple.
That evening, they hosted a glamorous evening reception for 1,000 guests at the luxurious Thamrin Nine Ballroom in the city, and dressed the colossal venue in gorgeous red and gold hues. The standing event (an Indonesian wedding culture) offered buffet stations serving an international array of dishes from wagyu steak to sup buntut and satay.
Some memorable moments was when Kefas sang Flashlight by Jessie J. during the couple's march-in, and Angela's beautiful gown, embellished with glittery Swarovski crystals by her mother.
Angela shares a money-saving tip: "Just remember that it's only one wedding day. The rest of your life with your partner is more important. Don't spend your money on things that are not important."
