As they say, love comes in different forms and shapes. Today's adorable couple, Stella and Ulf, were meant to be in their own way. Stella lived in Hungary, while Ulf was based in Switzerland. They discovered each other through Facebook, and after being apart for so long, they finally decided to be engaged one year after they first met in person. Their cross-border love story ended up taking them to the beautiful Santorini island in Greece, where they held a wedding as unique and relaxed as their own personality. Only inviting their parents to the intimate affair, Stella and Ulf took time to explore the whole island, spending precious time together. After all, nothing beats the refreshing seaside air and panoramic views of white-washed houses surrounded by blue hues of the sky and crystal clear ocean. We simply adore how the couple and their family seemed so relaxed, with not even an ounce of panic, so focused in just enjoying the wonderful atmosphere and joyful moments around them. Note from the photographer:
They had a legal ceremony held by a Greek officer. Ulf did not see the bride until she turned up in her wedding dress and the moment he saw her, he started to cry. That was the most emotional first look I had experienced in my photography career. They hugged for a few seconds. After the ceremony, they had a quick lunch and makeup retouch, then we visited the island's best places to take pictures. We saw the famous sunset in Oia. All tourists welcomed them with big smiles, and celebrated the couple wherever we went. After the photo shoot, they got back to meet their family and enjoyed a seaside dinner. This wedding was one of the most relaxed weddings I had ever experienced, and I will always have them in my heart.
