Singapore boy Gavin Lee married his Myanmar sweetheart Annie Yan at Chijmes Hall. "When we saw the venue it was love at first sight. It's filled with so much history, and Annie loves the amazingly beautiful stained glass and Gothic-styled architecture," said the groom. All the couple had to do was fill it with luscious white blooms to make it the perfect dream wedding.
The day kicked off with a traditional Chinese gatecrashing at the bride's condominium, followed by a photo-op down at MacRitchie Reservoir with the bridal entourage made up of 10 bridesmaids and 12 groomsmen!
It was expertly shot by husband-wife team, Alvin and Michelle of Awesome Memories Photography. "This pair is really dedicated and professional. They will not spare any effort just to capture the right picture at the right moment."
Later that evening, they finally became man and wife in a sweet solemnisation officiated by Justice of Peace, Francis Ng Chin Fah. "Mr Ng came highly recommended on wedding forums. He's meticulous, helpful, bilingual, eloquent and humorous. Suffice to say there was lots of laughter during the ceremony," he adds
After the chairs were rearranged, all 280 guests sat down for dinner in the same location and feasted on an 8-course Chinese dinner prepared by TungLok. To keep them entertained, trivia cards were laid out on every table for everyone to get to know the couple better.
"It was a fun wedding filled with joy, laughter and lots of flowers! We feel really blessed to have so many of our loved ones present to honour us with their blessings."
