To Bridestory, Olivia Trueblood of Galia Lahav shared the details of their new couture bridal collection called Queen of Hearts, as well as insights about bridal trend and tips on choosing a wedding gown.

Tell us the inspiration behind Queen of Hearts.
Queen of Hearts is inspired by royalty by all region, the extravagance and the regal behind the royals, and what they have wear and worn for many years.

What kinds of accessory match with the collection very well?
Jewel-toned accessories, such as ruby or emerald earrings, big statement rings, or colored stones. They are beautiful, fresh, fun things to add.

What do you think are the most important things a bride should consider when she's choosing a gown?
It's like choosing your perfect pair of jeans, your favorite jeans that fit perfectly. Try on the dress that brings out your best assets.

What type of wedding dress that is flattering for everyone?
Personally, a ballgown. Every woman has a waist or can create a smaller waist line by emphasizing on the hip and proportion of a body.

What are the latest wedding trends?
Ballgowns are making a comeback with that classic silhouette. In the past, the sexy type of silhouette, like mermaid and trumpet gown, have been popular, and apparently, they will always be. As for something super trendy, sleeve is a big thing right now. Not only the cap sleeves or traditional long sleeves, in our collection, we have some pretty funky modern sleeves that can be attached on the arm or something with a bow, or bellow sleeves. I think they look very avant garde.

What styles and trends do you think we'll be seeing more often on coming seasons?
It's always a gamble, but you will be always going to see what Galia Lahav is best known for; that sexiness but a little mystery in the look. We always pay such close attention to the little application, especially the laces. Details is always going to be something big with us.
