Every couple lives their daily marriage life in different ways and with different habits. There is no particular formula that can tell if a marriage will be everlasting. However, psychologist Roslina Verauli claimed that several open secrets can "nutrify" marriage to have a long-lasting relationship. The family counselor, who is also a mother, shared some of those tips.

1. Always put your marriage as a priority. When you own children, your priority often changes. However, every couple should remember that marriage is built from husband and wife who prioritizes each other. Thus, even though the marriage's dynamic keeps changing, don't forget to always put the foundation of your marriage in the first place.

2. Spend time to talk eye to eye every day. It is not about someone else's, your work, finance, or even the children, but about you two. Just like when you were still dating, it shouldn't be difficult. Make this opportunity to be open to each other and exchange views since every day is a different day for each of you.

3. Spend a quality time moment just both of you doing activities together at least once a week, such as a dinner or seeing a movie at the cinema.

4. Spend time to have a short getaway once every three months. It doesn't need to be somewhere far, but a staycation or a return trip to another city will make one.

5. Invite your spouse to join a marriage seminar or workshop together once a year. Let's update your knowledge about the marriage relationship from various perspectives.

Based on her own experience, Roslina, who has known her husband for 25 years and have been together for 10 years, confessed that those things make her marriage more intimate, intense, and attached. Conflicts are inevitable, but as years passed, she and her husband can always find the solutions. In her opinion, conflict is an indicator of a healthy relationship as long as the conflict can be solved.
