The first thing that you should always remember is that to compare yourself to other people is a recipe for disaster. If you keep comparing what you have or what you don't have to what others have and don't have, you will never find your own happiness. You will never be grateful of anything and soon you'll find yourself in the deep dark hole called depression. That won't be healthy at all.

The key is to start embracing your life and be grateful with everything that life has given to you. The moment you stop comparing yourself to others, you will see how much joy and happiness will come to your life. If you're single, love perhaps will come at that moment when you start living, perhaps not, perhaps long after.

It is also important to realize that there is no time frame for a great relationship. The right man should come at the right time, but great relationship is not built on a deadline. You should know from the very early that marriage sure does change a lot of things but at the same time it doesn't change anything. When it's finally your time to tie the knot, it's should not change your identity. You could be someone's wife, someone's mom, but you are your own person and should not to rely on someone else solely to define you.

Most of us didn't know that we started the whole marriage thing because we just like the idea of getting married, or even worst, the idea of having a wedding - a special big day dedicated only to you. Is that what you're jealous of when your friends are getting married? Think about it!

Getting married is not just something you have to do now because you're getting older. There are tons of things you should think before making this giant leap. Before that even happens, why don't you take the time to live the life you want to live? You can do something your heart urges you to, despite your current status: single or taken but not married, and outside of a relationship. Go places, join the 10K run, take cooking class, or painting class, or martial art class, whatever classes, volunteer at human rights organization, develop your hobbies. There are so many things you can do so that you can focus on being happy for yourself and stop over thinking about others' life.
