Here it is again, the wedding fair that you've all been waiting for. Bridestory Fair is back, and this year, it's bigger than ever. "Every beginning of the year, we curate the best vendors to be showcased in Bridestory Fair so that together, we can establish the wedding trend for the rest of the year," explains Ayunda Wardhani, the Bridestory's VP of Marketing. Bridestory Fair 2019 was held in Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel for its fourth year in a row now, running from the 1st to the 3rd of February 2019. With 100+ vendors, 15+ categories, and a 100% cashback for the first 50 transactions*, this year's Bridestory Fair 2019 was nothing short of being fully packed.
With Modern Heritage as their main concept, Bridestory's Social Media and Event Director Nathalia Isadora hopes that Bridestory can inspire all the brides-to-be and grooms-to-be to infuse the elements of cultures into their weddings. "We believe that a wedding is a union between two cultures, one from the bride and one from the groom," said Nathalia. The Modern Heritage concept was then born out of the idea that cultural elements can be incorporated into one's wedding in an effortless and colorful style. The theme of Modern Heritage itself is represented by the use of decorative elements such as wood, rattan mat and patterns combined with earth tones, such as beige and light brown.
At the 2019 Bridestory Fair, visitors could experience three charming art installations that were the perfect places for them to take photos. These installations were the result of collaboration with handy decorators who appreciate Indonesian culture in modern aesthetic ways, providing an experience like never before. The installation consisted of 'Titik Awal' by Flora Lines Decoration, 'Ruang Rasa' as a collaboration between Bridestory and Airy, and 'Dua Selamanya' by Royal Design Indonesia. In addition, all wedding vendors at Bridestory Fair 2019 also interpret their own versions of Modern Heritage concept at their booth.
This year's Bridestory Fair also presented a new area, the Bridestory Gift Shop, where visitors are welcomed to hunt unique knick-knacks to complete their wedding planning, or as a token of thanks to bridesmaids and groomsmen.
