Edmund and Andrea's 'Something Blue' wedding

For secondary school sweethearts Edmund Chew and Andrea Lim, who tied the knot after more than a decade of courtship, blue represents joy and a happily ever after — a colour they heavily applied to their wedding colour palette.

From the stationery to the floral decorations and bridal party's outfits, the wedding was awash with all spectrums of the cool shade. That included the wedding favours and glass jars filled with handwritten pebbles by guests – a nod to a ritual the couple did during their early dating years to celebrate "monthsaries".

St. Andrew's Cathedral where they married – the same church Andrea's parents wed 36 years ago – had a beautiful sky blue wall behind the altar to match the happy occasion. The following day at their lunch reception in Shangri-la Hotel Singapore, the ballroom was flooded with cool blue lighting, and the bride dazzled in a gorgeous navy blue satin gown from The Feline Bridal.

Maybe it was the calming, breezy colours of their wedding palette, or maybe it was just being surrounded by loved ones and a huge entourage of 16 bridesmaids and groomsmen; the couple admit it was the happiest weekend of their lives.
