In only two years, Exme Gallery has gained more recognition than owner and designer Shirley Kho had ever imagined. Exme Gallery's ready-to-wear dresses have even been worn by local celebrities and international public figures such as Miss World 2015. Branching out to wedding dresses soon seemed like the right decision, something that Shirley had always wanted to do. "I love wedding gowns because they allow me to fully express my vision as a designer. However, designing one can be very challenging, as each piece has so many intricate details," said Shirley.

Shirley wants each of her creations to have a chic and metropolitan feel to them. "I've stayed true to my style from the very beginning. Whatever character my clients may have, I always infuse chic designs into their dresses," Shirley explained. To maintain the quality and exclusivity of her gowns, Shirley also makes sure that each piece gets undivided attention and special care. "Wedding gowns are more difficult to design compared to evening gowns," she said. "Technically speaking, the wedding gown must hug the wearer's figure flawlessly and highlight her silhouette while remaining comfortable. Above all, it has to match the theme of the wedding and make the wearer feel more confident," she explained.
