Honestly, it is difficult for us to answer what makes this album so appealing. Is it because of the majestic Mount Bromo? Is it the contagious happiness from Ayla and Rama's chemistry? The flawless wardrobe? Or, the fantastic capability of the photographer? Every photo is visually pleasing.
It was an unexpected meeting between Ayla and Morden. In the beginning, the social media influencer intentionally visited Bridestory Fair 2019 to look for photography vendor. Because they did not catch her during the event, Morden personally contacted Ayla. They instantly felt the compatibility. Always admire the beauty of Indonesia's culture and nature, Ayla and Rama expressed their wish to have a shot at local destinations instead of going abroad. When the idea of Mount Bromo was mentioned, nobody could resist. The preparation to head to Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park started.
Etterette also shared the excitement. They immediately prepared some pieces of dress for Ayla to pick for her prewedding costumes. After that, every dress Ayla chose was taken a picture, then sent to Morden to be curated again. We believe this stong collaborative spirit that had brought the project to success.
Ayla did not bother to have makeup at 2 AM during the two-day photo shoot. They also had to deal with the cold. "In between the sessions, I covered myself with a jacket. I also wore a pair of boots and sneakers," share the bride-to-be. "As for the dress, I felt easy because they were all lightweight." The struggling paid off. The legendary Mount Bromo's sunlight, from dusk until dawn, faithfully embellished every frame.
When the sun was getting high, Plataran Bromo has served them a picnic arrangement. Dress and formal suits replaced with casual safari tops and trousers. This last session became their brief break after exploring the challenging plateau.
"Throughout the session, only happiness that I felt. No tiredness. The energy of Bromo was absolutely positive," the former fashion editor remembered. "The Morden team even brought a speaker and played romantic songs. It felt like falling in love all over again."
