Today's couple is one of the sweetest couples we've ever met. Stacey's lively charm and Ren's sense of romance complemented each other so well that anyone can see what a perfect match they are. Seeing how beautiful their wedding was, you might think that a grand and dramatic proposal was involved. However, the two simply talked about uniting as husband and wife, as they had already felt a certain steadiness in their relationship. As soon as their hearts were ready, they decided to tie the knot.
Stacey and Ren then reached out to Flying Bride to determine the overall look and feel of their wedding day. "From day one, I told Tassya from Flying Bride that I wanted something simple but elegant. Something beautifully romantic but with a sophisticated sense of mature stability," explained the bride. Having this in mind, Flying Bride came up with a classy floral theme with hues of blush, ivory, cream, and champagne that suited the lovebirds' romantic personality.
The venue, Alila Uluwatu, was beautiful to begin with, and Tea Rose Wedding Designer had the decoration done flawlessly along with a pleasant surprise too. A special photo booth with the words "I Otterly Love You" awaited the couple and captured their hearts. "We were pleasantly surprised by Sally's [from Tea Rose] gift for us as we often compared ourselves to adorable otters," said Stacey. The color-coordinated flowers were no less charming, complementing the sea-blue color surrounding the chapel. And to top the dreamy set-up were the couple, all dressed to impress. Stacey was exceptionally pretty, clad in designer pieces. Of all the three dresses, our favorites were the Monique Lhuillier dress she had on for the ceremony and the Elisavet Dress by Ines di Santo worn during the evening reception.
Ren, being the sweet gentleman he is, prepared not one but a few surprises for his bride. Aside from singing a song and reading a poem out loud in Indonesian (a language he doesn't fluently speak), he prepared two slideshows for her. "One was a compilation of our favorite love quotes and quotes taken from our love letters to each other, placed against his personal photos of Tasmania's natural beauty. The other was a video compiling well wishes from our close friends around the world who could not make it to our wedding. It was so special indeed."
Even with a few scares prior to the big day, like the volcanic ash resulting in six of their guests getting their flights turned away from Denpasar, in the end Stacey and Ren had full attendance of all the invited guests. Their family and close friends flew all the way from Singapore, Jakarta, Perth, Brisbane, Tasmania, Manila, India, and the United Kingdom to wish bountiful blessings to the newlyweds. This was exactly what warmed their hearts most. "The best things about the whole wedding were the love and blessings we received from our guests. They're the very reason why the wedding was so special." And we couldn't agree more. Scroll for more pretty pictures captured by Axioo.
