When Karina was first introduced to Dimas as committees in a church event, the two never expected to be more than friends. Yet, years later their feelings for each other started to blossom as they once again got assigned together. Only this time, the event was a little different as Karina had to dance whereas Dimas, the guitarist took in charge for the music. Naturally, the two grew closer afterwards.

Out of the entire celebration, Karina revealed her favorite moment was indeed the ceremonial procession when they switched vows at the altar and paid respect to their parents. "We could truly feel the love from Above surrounding the place. It was magical!" said the bride. "But above all, we love that we feel so loved on the wedding day. We felt entirely blessed and happy that so many people wanted to be there to celebrate our happiness, it really warmed our hearts," she continued.

Being an editor for a bridal magazine herself, it's not peculiar anymore if Karina has the knack of finding somewhat one-of-a-kind wedding vendors that suit to her distinctive taste. The whole year planning turned out to be a perfect timeline as she had enough time to prepare every significant aspect of the wedding. Her most important consideration however, was searching for the right venue. Thankfully, she found Mercantile Penthouse Wedding that was located in the heart of Jakarta and apparently suited to their budget as well. She also disclosed that venue came with an incredibly good catering service and even after the wedding everyone still raved about how delicious the food was.

Take a closer look at how she carefully planned to style her reception venue. "We wanted to exude a dreamy vibe thus a combination of greeneries, flowers, and shades of dusty blue was chosen. In the end, blush was added to the palette to provide balance in regards the venue's strong brown color," said Karina. Other than the decoration, we also admired her vintage-inspired two-way wedding dress that really showcased her personality. A lace outer with pearl embellishment and veil was opted for the ceremony, while for the reception she detached the outer and slipped on a short capelet as the final addition.
