Claudia first met Henry at their university's library back in 2008. One year after, they started to encounter one another more often, as the both of them went snowboarding every week. When spring break came, Henry asked Claudia to join him to Hawaii and not long after that trip, they were officially a couple. "Henry was not a sweet guy at all. We joked around, pissed each other off, and got annoyed with each other, but I think that's where the charm was," said Claudia.
After more than five years of being together, Henry decided to propose to Claudia. "Our family happened to be going to Singapore together and Henry asked me to celebrate our anniversary at the Singapore Flyer," told Claudia. She was clueless at first but right there, Henry got down on one knee and popped the question.
It took them one year to prepare the wedding, which Claudia preferred to be as private as possible. They chose The Royal Santrian Luxury Beach Villa, which has 20 private villas with a garden by the beach. "The staff were super friendly and the food was heavenly delicious. Even my guests told me that the food was one of the best they ever had in a wedding," shared Claudia. Talking about the wedding theme, she said, "We chose a travel theme as the both of us love to travel, and we hope that we would travel around the world as we grow old together." Through the hands of Tea Rose Wedding Designer, Claudia's favorite colors of gold and green were infused perfectly into the decorations.
On the big day, Claudia looked stunning in a dress by the celebrated Indonesian designer, Tex Saverio. She made sure that all the ceremonies were done before lunchtime, sparing her some free time before the reception to take some photos with Henry's family, record their wedding video, and touch-up her makeup. Everything was done in a very relaxed pace, just like how Claudia had always wanted.
For all the brides- and grooms-to-be out there, she shared some valuable tips. "Quality comes at a price. A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so you should go with your chosen vendors to make sure that you will have the perfect dream wedding to remember for the rest of your life," advised Claudia who was extremely satisfied with how her wedding turned out.
