Herry was introduced to Harumi in Singapore seven years ago, right before he had to return to Los Angeles. "She was irresistibly cute and instantly took my breath away. At that moment, I knew I was going to marry her someday," said Herry.
Many years after, he prepared a special surprise for Harumi during a short trip to Europe. Herry asked a photographer to capture the exact moment when he got down on one knee and popped the question. "It was at the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, in front of the Eiffel Tower. After that, we strolled to Trocadero for a divine picnic spread prepared by a Parisian chef. It was a such a lovely afternoon, although she was a bit jet-lagged," Herry reminisced.
Harumi and Herry then embarked on a new life journey by capturing their precious pre-wedding moments. Nature lovers that they are, the lovebirds used their engagement session as an excuse to visit the scenic Komodo Island. Their decision paid off, as they were lucky enough to catch a double rainbow in between photo shoots.
There to capture every moment, without overly dramatic poses or elaborate costumes, was Terralogical. "They were very friendly and fun-loving, and they made the whole trip feel like a holiday filled with laughter. We met as clients and a photography team, but in the end, we left the trip as friends," said Herry.
