Adinda had always dreamed of wearing a modified Javanese wedding gown made of velvet, paired with traditional paes makeup. For her wedding decorations, she wanted to have a Joglo wedding stage along with an indoor garden at the main hall. Luckily, she was able to make all her dreams come true on her wedding day. Through the talented hands of Airy Design, Balai Kartini was magically transformed according to Adinda's wishes. The decorations were so impressive, combining traditional and modern elements in perfect harmony. There was even a unique foyer inspired by traditional markets to welcome Adinda and Bayu's beloved guests.

The couple's pengajian, siraman, and midodareni processions were held one day before the wedding. On their special day, they had their akad nikah ceremony with Adinda dressed in a figure-hugging kebaya and Ramdisa in a traditional beskap, both in white. Later that night, they changed into a more glamorous set of traditional attires in dark red, which blended in nicely with the decorations. In the end, everything was perfect, just as they had always wanted.

Note from the blushing bride:

There were lots of challenges that I had to face when preparing my dream wedding. The first one was distance. Since Ramdisa's parents lived in Muscat, Oman, it was hard for us to communicate. My mom and I finally took over all the responsibilities in preparing the wedding with the kind help from my wedding organizer and the very helpful vendors. We also had difficulties in maintaining our health. Seven days before the wedding, Ramdisa got typhoid fever. He needed to get plenty of rest for at least a week. Until our midodareni night, he wasn't getting any better. Even after our wedding vows, he got sick again. On April 2nd (our reception was at night), I had to bring him to the emergency room because he had a really high fever. Well, although the preparation was full of drama, it was all worth it. I met lots of vendors who were very helpful and understanding. I am so thankful that I have a family who always supports me and a strong mama who's always there to give me a hand. In the end, there it was. My dream came true, a modern Javanese wedding that I had always wanted.
