Here at Bridestory, we've seen celebrations of every theme, held at various types of wedding venues; from glamorous ballroom receptions to intimate garden soirees. But when we came across this rustic wedding up on the mountains, we simply couldn't wait to share it with you.

Choosing a somewhat peculiar location for their nuptials, Kelvin and Irma still wanted their guests to feel as comfortable as possible. With the help of Lotus Design, the couple transformed Mount Pancar into a wedding-worthy venue while still maintaining its natural beauty. As you can see, the ceremony setup was nothing short of breathtaking, and the tall trees in the background added a magical touch that you just couldn't get anywhere else.

Some couples light unity candles or perform a unity sand ceremony after the holy matrimony. Kelvin and Irma, however, had a different take on this tradition. Consistent with their wedding theme, the newlyweds watered a plant together as a symbol of their union. And then, a wonderful reception followed.

Long tables with botanical centerpieces, a fully-stocked dessert corner, and fresh lemonade were only some of the many things that helped to create such a merry occasion. But what we love the most about this celebration is how casual the overall atmosphere was and how there seemed to be no distance between the couple and their guests. A celebration in which everyone can happily celebrate together with the couple, that's a great wedding to us.
