Just a few days ago, Tria and Direz shared their fashionable pre-wedding shoot in Jakarta. Today, the couple has returned to pamper our eyes with a vibrant traditional Javanese wedding. "We wanted something other than a traditional house design as our wedding stage backdrop. Instead, we tried to combine Javanese cultural elements with tropical garden design," said the beautiful bride. Sumptuous flowers and greenery adorned every corner, imbuing a natural fragrance and romantic atmosphere to the whole celebration.
"Airy Designs did a marvelous job with our wedding decorations. They perfectly interpreted what we had in mind. From the brainstorming stage to the final results, everything went beyond our expectations," Tria continued. Their other vendors were no less wonderful, including traditional makeup artist, Ambar Paes who patiently guided her throughout every Javanese ritual. "And I could not think of any makeup artist other than Adi Adrian to paint my face so flawlessly," added Tria.
At first, Tria and Direz had some difficulties in choosing the right photographer. "We're both particularly picky about photography, we even went to many wedding expos just to find the perfect one," explained Tria. One day, their decorator recommended Pyara, and the couple fell head over heels. "We love how they play around with different angles and lighting. So dramatic and captivating," said Tria.
Based on her own experience, Tria has three tips for brides-to-be who are planning their wedding. The first one is to plan like a pro. "Direz and I are entrepreneurs, so we planned our wedding like we managed our business. From budgeting, setting a timeline, to listing down everything we needed, we did everything very carefully," said Tria. Next, leave the rest to the experts by letting your vendors come up with creative solutions. Last but not least, decide on what you want from the very beginning. "Be firm and don't let yourself get swayed easily by other people's opinions."
