We're so excited to be invited to see Sapto Djojokartiko's newest bridal collection earlier last month. As soon as we were seated at the venue, our eyes were spoiled by an array of 21 beautiful gowns featuring the designer's signature tailoring. It feels like we understand why it took 4 years for Sapto to bring back his renowned bridal collection; every piece was magnificently crafted and emphasizing its practical nature. Though the designs have Sapto's name all over it, there are new characteristics to the women he portrayed through this collection. Apparently, Saptodjojokartiko Bride Collection 2019 is created to fulfill the need of women who prefer destination or resort wedding, which is more private and intimate. Thus, the collection possesses light-weighted, classic and timeless design without leaving intricacy and meticulousness on beadings, embroideries and applications.
