A Chemistry-Laden Engagement Album in Bali

Colors:

Shot by the brilliant David Christover, the engagement album of Mutiara and Ari will sweep you off your feet. It's the perfect example of a pre-wedding photo shoot in which the couple manages to shine through and make the whole scene come alive. What we love the most about it, is how both Mutiara and Ari didn't need to try too hard to stand out or wear over-the-top dresses to outshine the breathtaking landscapes behind them.

All it took were the brush of their hands, intimate whispers, a few kisses, a lot of laughter and just like that, magical moments happened naturally. The raw emotions captured in every frame are so authentic, simple, and beautiful. We won't say anything more, just scroll right down and let the pictures speak for themselves.

From the photographer:

I met this couple a few months before the session. I instantly knew that they would be into something simple for their pre-wedding session; and that kind of couple suits me really well. Traveling to Bali was spontaneous too. We never had a plan to go and have a session there. It all started out as a simple Whatsapp discussion, I put the idea on the table and just like that, we were in Bali a few days later! We roamed across Bali, chasing sunsets and sunrises. The sessions were so, so simple, because Mutiara and Ari aren't into posed and staged photos. The idea clicked with me right away. I just love to shoot my couple just being themselves. Just being real. Just being in love. I'm not chasing perfection, but authenticity.
