Diana and Jeffrey always believed that everything happens for a reason. This way of thinking came from how they met, which was online. The two discovered each other from a mutual friend's profile picture, which was a far fetch from how couples usually meet. They dated for four years and are now ready to open a new chapter in their lives through marriage. When this couple learned that their pre-wedding photoshoot might be held in Jakarta's rainy season, they embraced it instead of avoiding it. As said before, they believed that everything happens for a reason, so they decided to go with a grunge ambiance for their pre-wedding album.
"When we met Jeffry and Diana for the first time, they just want to show their true selves on the photos, no drama," said the photographer of Nocture. Diana decided to do makeup by herself, and wore a simple dress that came from her own wardrobe. Jeffry also didn't do anything extravagant and wore his own outfits. "All they need for this photo shoot to work was just love," said Nocture. And it was true! The gloomy weather didn't overshadow the brightness that this happy couple expressed through the camera. They had an incredible chemistry in front of the lens, even when they are positioned apart for specific poses, you can still feel the electricity between the two.
They did two concepts for their photo shoot. The first concept was taken at one of Jakarta's famous historic city square, Banteng Field. The mood for this first concept is more cheerful, bright, and lively. Diana and Jeffry posed at the Banteng Field's photogenic stairs and hallways. Even though it was particularly cloudy that day, the couple didn't seem to mind and managed to radiate warmth through their intimacy. The next concept has even more of a grunge-feel, because it was taken at a parking lot all the way to its roof. The mood was a little more edgy and formal this time, where Jeffry wore a suit and Diana was wrapped in a simple semi-formal beige dress. Photos taken at the rooftop showed the dark, cloudy skies clearly, while Diana and Jeffry became a bright contrast from all the dimness from the weather.
