It's such a huge honor to be a bridesmaid, because it means that you will experience many fantastic moments as the member the bride's inner circle. However, it still means having different tasks to complete. Firstly of course, you have to look out for yourself— so you won't wind up in any mess— and next, for the bride, so she can truly enjoy her big day. To make sure everything goes smoothly, we have compiled a list of things you have to pack for the big day and not leave any important details behind.

Preparing for the perfect entrance

Make sure you pack your bridesmaid dress, matching shoes to wear with the dress, and just as important: the right bra and undergarments to wear under your dress. If you are wearing a strapless dress, make sure you bring a strapless or stick-on bra— and just to be safe, it is always safer to go with nude-colored bra. A pair of flats may come in handy when you are eager to take off those heels after the party.

If you're going to do your own makeup, pack up the whole makeup kit. If you'll have your makeup done by professional makeup artist, consider packing a mini makeup kit. It usually consists of powder, mascara, and lipstick for touch-ups. Another pro-tip: prepare button-up shirt or loose tank to wear while having your makeup and hair done, so you won't stain the dress or mess up your hair.

For the final touch, you may choose some matching jewelries to add an extra oomph to your overall look, and also, don't forget your favorite perfume!

Preparing for the beauty emergencies

One of the rules in weddings is to maintain the flawless look of the bride and bridesmaids throughout the big day. Therefore, preparing for beauty emergencies is a must. Pack up your dry shampoo— to fix greasy hair, oil blotting papers to remove excess oil on the face, deodorant, comb, tissue, bobby pins, and safety pins.

Preparing for the least expected

You can never be over-prepared, so it won't hurt to be ready for the least expected. Bring a cell phone power bank, personal medicines, sanitary pads, band-aids, and breath mints— just in case.

Preparing for the bride

While you are a bridesmaid, you have to think for the bride as well. So prepare a mini pouch for her necessities on hand. You may put a mini makeup kit, consisting of powder, mascara, and lipstick for her touch-ups, more bobby pins and safety pins, oil blotting papers, and tissue.
