This inspiration shoot exudes modern sophistication with French flair through the use of props, colours and the chicest of outfits. Using the driveway of a private home, this outdoor tea party concept came to life through the creative culmination of various bridal vendors namely TheLittleBrush Makeup, A Little Moment Photography and Chère: Weddings & Parties. Others involved in the project included With Every for the rustic floral arrangements and Butter Studio who created a scrumptious spread of baked goods.
Bucking the trend of pastel shades for a vintage 'do, this styled shoot infuses pops of black, fuchsia and blue to brighten up the settings and add some boldness to the quaint affair. Shades of greens were used to further accentuate these colours. "We find that couples often shy away from having the colour black in their weddings due to an ingrained social belief that it is a taboo. However we think that using it the right way can bring about a look that is sophisticated, timeless and unforgettable," explains Weiwei of Chère: Weddings & Parties.
The Parisian twist comes from the use of vintage tableware and accessories from My Rabbit Hole, plus a plethora of grooming accessories like pearls and a perfume atomiser. To complement the classy vibe, model Javin suited up in a fine selection of outfits from Common Suit, while bride Jia Hui paraded in a beautiful array of designer gowns by The Prelude Bridal and Lunapompon. She wore clean makeup with bright red lips, while hair-netting and intricately-beaded hairbands added a certain je ne sai qoui.
To top it all, they each had vintage wheels – a Mini Cooper and Volkswagen from Minibug!
