It Takes Patience to Love – Nessa & Adryan
by Antijitters Photo

Updated on 10 February 2015

The idea to have a prewedding session outside Jakarta came up 6 months after I met Nessa & Adryan in the capital. At first, they hesitated to have a prewedding in Bromo or even outside Jakarta at all. The first consideration is Bali. Because it offers a lot of prewedding sites. Yet, Adryan reminded me that the wedding theme next April will be a secret garden, so if the prewedding site matched the theme, it’d be a go. Clearly, the weather we flew in the day before shooting was a nightmare. It rained, heavy pouring rain and it makes me anxious of flying. Yes, I was not anxious of rain, but flying. I knew if we are shooting in the rain, we’ll still have numerous top notch shots, as long as we are prepared with the weather plan and willingness to embrace it. So rain, I befriend you. But it didn’t go well with the flight. In the hotel room, my assistant and I asked how was each other’s flight? She flew from Bali and I flew from Jakarta. And we both said that was the creepiest flying experience we ever had. We were in shocked for a night. Yet it didn’t last long. Our shock was vanished when we see the brightest sun of Mount Bromo we shot in the next morning. We were in awe. And obviously, Nessa & Adryan and Ara had a good time as if the scenic mountain was solely their actual secret garden. What a beautiful place of Java. Thank you for being wonderful guys, see you both in April!
