Engagement | Andry & Felicia - 이 마음 연합
by The Wagyu Story

Updated on 13 November 2017

이 마음 연합 means "when the two hearts united". While the wedding rings are round shaped which symbolized the eternity, the never-ending love, have you ever wonder why people wear the wedding ring on the fourth finger of their left hand? *well at least for most countries, most people in Indonesia wear it on their right hand* As I googled around, I found this answer from wikipedia: "According to Roman belief the wedding ring is worn on the fourth finger of the left hand because of a vein that we have in our left "ring" finger. This vein is called the vena amoris. It is believed that this vein runs directly to the heart. Which as we all know is the symbol of love." I can not agree more with the answer. Marriage is when the two hearts united, the two shall become as one, and the two shall live together forever. Two weeks ago, Andry and Felicia tied the knot, made a vow to live together forever, to be there for each other, for better and for worse. They met each other when they studied together in the same university back then, and took a few same classes. Upon graduation, Andry & Felicia, together with some of their friends had another chance to study together in Beijing.:) As they shared the same hobbies, they hung out together a lot more. That was when the feeling started to grow. One of the hobbies they shared is eating korean food. They love to check out new restaurants together in Beijing. As they confessed to us, even until now, they still eat korean food for at least once a week. As for the proposal story, instead of asking Felicia whether she wants to marry him or not, he listed why he wanted to marry her and sang a korean song and gave the ring towards the end of the song. Yeap, their love for each other and with anything about Korea is the main inspiration for this engagement session. Please enjoy how they love blooms in spring time in Korea.
