EVENING GOWN DUSTY PINK EMBROIDERY LACE DRESS Posted on June 14, 2015 Remember Sufi Huang from my previous post. Well, this project was for her sister – the equally beautiful Susi Huang. For her sister’s wedding, Susi knew just what she wanted right from the start. Inspire by one of my collection displayed in my workshop, Susi requested a similar design for herself. I have to say that Susi has a pretty good taste and understanding of her own body, which made it easier for me to style her for the special event. This full embroidered lace dress drops just right at the waist, which is very figure-flaunting. The scoop neckline is steadied by the two thick straps with Chantilly laces and more embroidery patterns. At the back, the dress is secured with a single button and a diamond backless shape. The overall dress itself is a H-Line Skirt with a little play on the bottom part of this piece. While it looks like a full floor length gown, it is actually a mini skirt formal wear layered with a long lace fabric. On the both side of the dress, there is another layer attached to make the whole look even more flowing with elegance. I recommended the color dusty pink because Susi loves soft and pastel colors. This dress goes well with her personality and her skin-tone. Most importantly, this dress allowed Susi to look her best while still being confident, romantic, and especially lovely throughout the evening. Kudos to Susi who was the ever sweet model and sister of the bride.
