Penang Beach Wedding Celebrations of Charlotte and Waikit 28 June 2014

Charlotte and Wai Kit travelled from Hong Kong to Singapore where ShiLi & Adi is based in 2013 (a year ahead of their celebrations) to engage them for the wedding in Penang. On their wedding celebrations, ShiLi & Adi featuring John Lye (on vocals/guitar) and Gerald (on percussion) flew in from Singapore and performed at their afterparty just after the fireworks. The 4-piece band grooved and party with the bride and groom's guests who flew in from Hong Kong, Singapore, UK, US and Australia. It was a magical night with lots of fun and laughter. The wedding theme was infused with "Peranakan" elements all throughout with the bridesmaids in beautiful kebayas and our groom, serenading "Ice Kachang" to the bride during the solemnisation. The ambience was at the peak when Wai Kit took Charlotte's hand for a first dance to ShiLi & Adi singing Belaian Jiwa, one of their favourite malay songs from growing up days.
