Every once in a while a wedding comes along that has all the elements to make it a classic, bride with impeccable style like our Meike. She was dolled up in classic gown with timeless veil. Tuxedos and bow ties made Mario looks extra handsome and of course traditional ceremony with high valued of kinship, respecting the old tradition and embracing the modernity of wedding ceremony. They had their engagement ceremony in Lampung earlier so this time around everybody is used to be in the centre of attention and everybody looks so relaxed here. They cherish this time around to be gathered with friends and family from out of town, even from overseas who comes to attend their celebration. What I loved most about this wedding was the holy matrimony. "Months and months planning these events for both cities, and all comes to this beautiful ceremony," I overheard one of their relatives whisper to one another as the bride Meike was about to walk down the aisle. Yes! It’s true! And what amazing moments they are – the moment he sees her walking towards him; the moment her father entrusts her to him; the moment they burst into laughter, tears of joy that were witness by dear friend, and family. The moment they exchange vows with each other and really really realize the adventure they are embarking on. Real moments. And ones we feel so honored to capture.
