There's one artist who is referenced in the world of weddings more than all the rest put together, and that's visionary director Wes Anderson. Through his liberal use of colour and his exceptional attention to detail, the Texas-born filmmaker is a huge source of inspiration for couples planning their big day - and we had a fabulous Wes Anderson wedding theme this year! We all should be able to tell that this wedding was inspired by Wes Anderson's style in his movies, just by looking at the colorful palette and vintage details. We really love this wedding gallery that was also a photo booth! Almost all of Wes Anderson's movies feature bold retro style statements. That’s why we used such details to bring you a nostalgic and homey atmosphere. There is something very distinctive about the set details in Wes Anderson movies. One of them that we love is The Grand Budapest Hotel. And this particular spot implemented the concept of a hotel reception, so we used a tall reception table instead of the usual one, and put some time zone clocks on the background. Such details really warm our hearts ❤️ And to complement the colorful outdoor wedding reception space, the wedding stage had to be just as fun, that’s why we used this soft pink as the main colour for this stage. We think it definitely nailed the Anderson-inspired look. Although the trend has been kicking around for a while now, rustic weddings ceremony can also look so chic. A wedding ceremony that held in outdoor and surrounded by greeneries, woods, and flowers should never go wrong. We used log place mats and mismatched glassware on the bridal table for this Wes Anderson inspired wedding. We had festive decor that was inspired by Wes Anderson’s colorful films. Our focus was to bring a colorful vintage retro style yet laid back feel. Our couple really wanted their wedding to be an opportunity for everyone to come together and share in their joyful day. You’ve probably heard us use the phrases, “Incorporate your personalities in your big day". Like what our couple did. Their wedding was reminiscing the Wes Anderson's classic colors and aesthetics, and we loved how it turned out!
