Sara & Nikki Minangnese Wedding

Even though we are often to documented the traditional weddings, we are still feels the excitement every time we captured the wedding event especially when it comes to wedding events with traditional Indonesian nuances. For us, there’s always something that really beautiful in every traditional ceremony and there’s always something special in every our client’s wedding. And so it is as when we had a chance to be the one who are trusted to become the documentaries on Sara & Nikki’s wedding. Sara & Nikki grew up and studied abroad, (Nikki used to lived in America while Sara used to studied in London), but still, they do not forget where they are coming from, their customs and culture, and they wanted a wedding with traditional Indonesian atmosphere. For the wedding vow event, Sara & Nikki worn beskap (kind of official men's shirt in the Javanese tradition of Mataraman to be worn on formal or important occasions) and white kebaya, which made the atmosphere became more sacral and pure. And for the reeption event, Sara & Nikki worn traditional Minang clothes with a combination of dark colored and gold. Coupled with a traditional Minang’s house at the aisle made the atmosphere of Minang increasingly felt. Although the Minang custom was really felt, Sara & Nikki still wanted something modern for their wedding. We can see through the decoration concept made by Stupa Caspea. With the alloys of red flowers dominant and a touch of fuchsia, made their wedding, which held at Dharmawangsa Hotel seemed much elegant and luxury. Last but not least, Sara & Nikki’s wedding ceremony ended up with very intimated and roused after-party. One of the moments on the after-party is the speeches from Sara & Nikki’s relatives and families which are very touching.
