Jerry and Natashya knew each other through mutual friends. However, their story didn't actually begin until they both used Swarm aka Foursquare, the location sharing app. It was back in 2015 when Jerry learned through Swarm that this young lady was traveling (alone?) to Costa Rica, which prompted him to personally ping her. Over the next few months, one Whatsapp ping turned into hundreds, many dinner night outs, and Jerry biking from work to coffee shops where Natashya would finish up her work. Little did they know that their different personalities & interests kept them coming back to each other. Jerry started realizing that biking many miles from work to see Natashya always became the highlight of his day. One night after a sushi dinner, Jerry took Natashya out walking around the neighborhood. Unbeknownst to her, he would later ask her to be his girlfriend. Natashya found it amusing that Jerry spelled out all of their different preferences: she likes boba milk tea while he likes no-boba fruit tea, she likes hot pot while he prefers pizza, and she has sweet tooth while he doesn't really... but he could live with it. Natashya thought this could be the start of something special. And they never looked back ever since.
