"Dear Bridestory, I'm having trouble trying to figure out if the guy I am dating right now is in love with me or not. We see each other every now and then – he's a very busy guy so, I don't get to see him that much. He would call sometimes but it's usually me that would try to make plans for us to go on dates. First of all, it is never nice having to question how someone else feels about us. It seems very clear that you are feeling confused with not only how this person is feeling but also on where this relationship is going. The answer to your question of how you can know how he feels towards you is as simple as he will let you know in every single way possible through his words and through his actions. As much as we would like to think men are complicated, the truth is that they aren't – especially when it comes to pursuing their love interest. Although every man is different and has their own little unique ways in showing their feelings, here are a few pointers you can pay attention to.
Pay attention to his actions. When a man wants to be with someone, he will do whatever he can to show that person just how much he cares. He will put you on top of his priorities list by making sure he makes time for you even if he has other things going on. He will never be too busy for you and even if he is busy, he will make sure you know and will still make future plans. When you are with him in person, he will be completely present – no distractions, as if you are the only thing he is focused on. He will involve you in his life and he will be involved in yours because when a man wants to be with you, he will try his best to make you a part of his world.
Pay attention to the way he speaks to you. It is incredibly easy for a man to tell you he loves you through words and words alone because anyone can do the same. Instead of focusing on what he tells you, focus on the way he speaks to you. You can tell when a man truly likes you if he speaks to you with respect.
